FFL Firearms Transfers
Inbound Transfers
Thank you for choosing to have your firearm transferred by CPGlenway in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Please note that we offer gun transfer services for Title 1 firearms only.
We only provide transfer services for handguns to legal Ohio residents and active-duty military personnel that are PCS to a base or station in Ohio (see note below). Long guns can be transferred to others in states that adjoin Ohio, such as Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
The transfer fee for handguns is $30 and for long guns it is $25. More than one gun…ask for a quote.
You can only arrange a transfer for yourself. You may not arrange a transfer for someone else. If someone else is having the firearm transferred, they must contact us to initiate the transfer. The dealer sending the firearm may not arrange the transfer.
We require the sender to include a legible, current license with each transfer. An FFL should send their current license copy (it must be signed, dated, and filled out completely by the FFL holder); a private individual would send a legible, clear copy of their current driver’s license. Without either we cannot process your transfer and it may be returned to the sender.
We reserve the right to refuse a transfer or report suspected criminal activity to the proper law enforcement agencies.

Details of the Bill can be seen here: Senate Bill 183.
NOTES:
- We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any transfer firearm or to make transfer to any end user.
- All federal, state, and local laws will always be followed.
